Some of the things I really liked about the Take Back Your Life Book:
- Even though I don’t follow this system to a T – it has greatly changed my life by increasing my connection (the big why) I do things and my productivity.
- It introduced me to the whole idea of keeping all of my dreams, objectives, goals and actions in one place
- Color is something that really works for me – now when I see yellow I know I have a call, or if I see bright blue I know it is my own business objective, if I see light green I have client prep / contract work – so at a glance I can look at my calendar and tasks and immediately get a feel for my day.
- Every week I look at my calendar and fill it in with baseline colors and activities – it gives me a sense of accomplishment and balance.
- I no longer have to hold a lot of information in my head – I simply dump it into my color coded tasks
- Overall, reading the book gave me a feel for a system that works – I was then able to tweak it so that it works for me. I’ve been using it for over two years and love it.
